Library Mission:
The mission of the Robert Lee Brothers, Jr. Memorial Library is to provide educational, informational and recreational resources to patrons of all ages and of all cultural and economic backgrounds. The library will protect intellectual freedom, promote literacy, encourage lifelong learning and provide library materials and information services.

Robert Lee Brothers, Jr. Memorial Library offers many services to the public including, but not limited to:

• 35,000 books, magazines, and audiobooks available for check out
• 3,000 DVDs & Blu-Rays
• Downloadable e-books and audio books
• 16 public internet computers, and 2 computers available for genealogy research
• Copy machine for public use
• An extensive genealogy room with old Gonzales Inquirer newspapers available on microfilm
• Area newspapers and the Wall Street Journal are provided for reading in the library
• Texana collection
• A multi-media projector may be rented by organizations, businesses or individuals
• An annual Summer Reading Program, sponsored by the Robert Lee Brothers, Jr. Memorial Library, is held for area school children and young readers
