DO YOU KNOW YOUR CURRENT FLOOD RISK?

Learn more at the Flood Risk Open House

The City of Gonzales and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are hosting an Open House to show proposed new flood maps.

If you live or do business along the San Marcos or Guadalupe River or its tributaries in Gonzales, your flood risk may be changing.

Learn about your risk of flooding and what the new flood maps mean to you. There will be a 90 day public comment period for appeals and comments to be announced.

Open House

August 23, 2017 from 2–7 pm

Zedler Mill

1179 South Laurel Ave.

Luling, Texas

Local Floodplain Administrators, FEMA representatives, and insurance representatives will be available to answer your questions. There will be no formal presentation, so come at your convenience.

For more information or for those who are unable to attend the meeting, maps are available at City Hall. They are also available at https://www.fema.gov/about/organization/region-6.
