Fair and Impartial Adjudication
Municipal Court provides a fair and impartial adjudication of traffic citations, code violations, and misdemeanor offenses committed and filed in the City of Gonzales. The Court prepares dockets, schedules trial by jury, collects fines, and issues warrants of arrest. Municipal Court is responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures that balance the need for cooperation with other agencies and branches of government. The judge hears the facts, decides the issues raised by the defendant pleading, decides the issues of law, and enters a judgment.
How to reach the court:
