Roll up those sleeves and help keep Gonzales shining! The annual Jim Price City-Wide Clean Up returns on April 18, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon—a long-standing community tradition focused on pride, teamwork, and a fresh start for our city.
This year’s drop-off location is the south lot of the Victoria College campus at 421 Dunning Street. For smooth traffic flow, all vehicles must enter by traveling north on St. Joseph Street and turning onto Dunning Street.
Residents can bring bulky items that are too large for regular trash service, including furniture, appliances (freon must be removed), and other oversized household items.
Please note: Hazardous materials will not be accepted. This includes items such as paint, gasoline, motor oil and filters, antifreeze, fluorescent lights, pesticides, batteries, household or pool chemicals, herbicides, and any flammable, corrosive, or biomedical materials. Also excluded are rocks, dirt, sand, ashes, tires, brush, and construction or demolition debris (brick, concrete, shingles, sheetrock).
Join your neighbors in making Gonzales cleaner and brighter—one load at a time!
