Two sets of plans to show the following as per the City of Gonzales Code of Ordinance 14.1002
Sec. 14.1002 Building Permit
(a) Single-Family and Duplex Residences.
(1) A request to erect, place, or move a structure on (or) to a tract or to add to an existing structure that it will change the exterior limits of the existing structure, shall require the following information:
(A) Complete set of construction plans for any structure to be erected upon the tract; and
(B) Construction plans for that portion of a structure having its exterior limits altered and including the adjacent portions of the structure which will remain in place; or
(C) Appropriate foundation and other plans for structures to be placed or moved onto the tract; and
(D) A site plan at a scale sufficient to show all detail thereon and including location of exterior walls of existing or proposed structures with dimensions and distances to property lines, existing or proposed drives, walks, patios, porches, etc., property lines, easements, building lines, fences, existing utility lines not within any easement and any new utility lines to be located upon the tract, except service lines to existing structures upon that tract which will not be affected by the construction, and the street paving line. A north arrow, bar scale, the scale in feet per inch, street address, approximate distance to and the name of the nearest intersecting street, and an attestation by the applicant or agent as to the accuracy of all information shall be included.
(E) Homestead exempt single-family dwellings may increase up to fifteen percent (15%) of total square footage of the primary structure. A set of construction plans under this subsection does not require a design professional seal.
(2) A request for interior construction requires only a set of construction plans for that portion of the structure to be changed and including the adjacent portions of the structure which will remain in place.
